Alex Levac

Alex Levac (born 1944) is an acclaimed Israeli photojournalist and street photographer who has been staff photographer for Haaretz newspaper since 1993. He won the Israel Prize for photography in 2005, with judges noting his humanitarian perspective and deep involvement in documenting the Israeli experience. His work was featured in a virtual exhibition with the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Google Arts & Culture in 2023, showcasing photographs from 1986-2022.
