Alisha B. Wormsley is an interdisciplinary artist and cultural producer based in Pittsburgh who explores collective memory and the synchronicity of time through the Black matriarchal lens. She is best known for her ongoing project 'There Are Black People In The Future,' which addresses systemic oppression and gentrification through public art, film, and social practice. She founded Sibyls Shrine in 2020, an arts residency for Black artists who mother, and currently serves as Assistant Professor of Art in Social Practice at Carnegie Mellon University.
