Antonio Marras

Antonio Marras was born in Alghero, Sardinia in 1961, and is a multidisciplinary artist who works across fashion, visual arts, and theater. Besides creating dramatic, darkly romantic clothes, he paints and makes installation art. He is also a ceramist and a song lyricist. Recently showing his Fall 2025 collection inspired by a 1892 melodrama "La Bella di Alghero," featuring more sensual and body-hugging silhouettes, and in September 2023, Gruppo Calzedonia took a majority stake in his company, representing a new chapter in Antonio Marras' history with expanded resources.
