Camilla Crittenden

Camilla Crittenden explores the intersection of texture, form, and contrast, blending ceramic test tiles with large-scale canvas compositions using a primarily neutral palette with intentional pops of bright color. She is a painter and ceramicist inspired by nature and the Ozark Mountains, creating pigments with local resources. Her recent work includes cyanotype on ceramic surfaces, merging photographic process with fired form to explore memory, identity, and impermanence. She is currently based in Bentonville, Arkansas.
