Felicia Rice

Felicia Rice (born 1954) is an American book artist, typographer, letterpress printer, and publisher who founded Moving Parts Press in 1977. After losing her studio and home to the CZU Lightning Complex Fire in August 2020, she relocated to Mendocino, California, where she has rebuilt her practice with community support. Her recent work includes the artists' book 'Heavy Lifting' (2023) with poet Theresa Whitehill, and she continues to create collaborative book structures that address social justice, climate change, and Latinx arts and literature.
