Jihee Kim

Kim Jihee (born April 10, 1984) is a South Korean artist known for her work in oriental painting, particularly her acclaimed Sealed Smile series that began in 2008. Her work features portraits of smiling women wearing glamorous, jewel-adorned glasses, exploring themes of desire and existence using traditional Korean paper and techniques. In 2024, she held a major solo exhibition at China's K11 Art Museum and has participated in over 400 exhibitions internationally across major cities including New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Dubai, and London.
