Kai Oh

Kai Oh (b. 1992, Seoul, Korea) is a visual artist based in New York, NY. Her work delves into the complex layers of her identity as a Korean woman and the broader East Asian experience, intertwining these themes with the fluid, mutable nature of digital images. By bringing digital images from the computer into physical space, Oh challenges conventional norms and historical values linked to flat images/surfaces on the wall, crafting otherworldly scenarios. She received her MFA from Columbia University's School of the Arts and holds dual Bachelor's degrees from Seoul National University and the Academy of Fine Arts, Nuremberg.
