Lillian Verkins

Lillian Verkins is an Altamonte Springs, Florida-based contemporary acrylic and mixed medium painter known for her expressive brushstrokes and meditative abstract works. Her paintings range from spacescapes inspired by NASA imagery to landscapes and figurative works, with recent exhibitions including participation in the Mennello Museum Invitational in 2024 and ongoing shows at Gallery 500 and the Museum of Arts and Sciences. She received her BFA cum laude from the University of Central Florida in 1987 and has won 28 juried awards including four Best of Show honors.
