Minjung Song

Song Minjung is a contemporary South Korean artist born in 1985 in Busan who lives and works in Seoul. She creates installations and videos that explore the intersection of physical and digital identity, addressing contemporary topics such as gender, body, disability, and trans identity through online and offline characters. Her practice examines the 4th industrial revolution's impact on social contact, where robots and AI facilitate 'untact' interactions, and she questions how society defines and frames new body types within social norms.
