Robert Shirk

Robert Shirk is a Florida-based contemporary artist known for his Neo-Pointillist figurative paintings created on multiple sheets of layered plexiglass, creating three-dimensional kinetic effects that shift as the viewer's perspective changes. Born in 1952 in Tarrytown, New York, he returned to painting in 2015 after a 23-year career in marketing. His recent work has been exhibited throughout Florida, including a 2021 solo exhibition at Jane's Art Center and the curated 'Men Painting Women' exhibition series (2022-2023) featuring his collaborative work with other Florida artists.
