2026 Nature Art Showcase & Sale - Call for Artists
Artists of all ages invited to showcase nature-inspired artwork from Pennsylvania counties. Special 'On the Wing' category available.
The Council on Greenways & Trails (CGT) and Penn Soil RC&D announce the 2026 Nature Art Showcase & Sale, scheduled for February 2026. This exhibition welcomes artists and artisans of all ages, including students, to showcase talents inspired by their summer adventures in nature. Each participant may submit one or two pieces, with options to list for sale or display only. A special optional category 'On the Wing' celebrates artwork inspired by natural winged creatures. The showcase accepts original creations or interpretations in both 2D and 3D visual arts, including painting, drawing, sculpture, fabric arts, and photography. Artists creating unique items such as jewelry, wearable art, pottery, metal fabrication, and woodworking are also encouraged to participate. All artwork must represent natural or outdoor recreational assets of specific Pennsylvania counties: Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Forest, or Warren. The event features public voting for People's Choice awards and opportunities for artists to connect with attendees. This showcase supports the Council on Greenways & Trails' mission to maintain high-quality greenways systems and Penn Soil RC&D's community improvement initiatives across Northwest Pennsylvania.
