Week-long arts festival Nov 26-Dec 2, 2025 featuring exhibitions, workshops, fashion shows, and competitions for artists of all ages.
Antigua and Barbuda Art Week returns November 26 to December 2, 2025, with the theme 'Culture in Colour.' This comprehensive arts festival, presented by the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority in partnership with the Department of Culture, celebrates visual arts, fashion, music, dance, spoken word, and cultural traditions across both islands. The festival activates multiple venues from historic Redcliffe Quay and Heritage Quay to V.C. Bird International Airport. Key events include a grand opening celebration with live art demonstrations, a Visual Arts Exhibition at Dr. Alister Francis Campus showcasing acclaimed artist Mark Brown alongside student work, sustainable art workshops, curated Art and Culture Bus Tours, the 'ZOIGE' Fashion Show led by designer Garrett Javan, and a Student Art Competition for ages 7-17. Additional highlights feature Rhythm and Vibes at Hodges Bay Resort, exhibitions at The Quay Studio and Heritage Quay, and Open Studios across the island. Most activities are free, with select paid events starting at EC$75. The festival emphasizes community engagement and places local artists firmly in the spotlight, offering both residents and international visitors an immersive cultural experience showcasing the creative side of the twin-island paradise.
