FOTOFESTIWAL Open Call 2026 offers photographers worldwide the opportunity to present their work at the International Festival of Photography in Łódź, Poland, taking place in June 2026. This prestigious festival, established in 2001, has grown into one of Europe's most relevant photographic events, attracting over 20,000 viewers annually. The call is completely open with no thematic or age restrictions, seeking artists with exceptional personalities and bold visions. An international jury of specialists from leading media and photographic institutions will select six projects for exhibition during the festival. Selected artists receive a €1000 artistic fee, accommodation for the opening weekend, travel reimbursement up to €300, and exhibition production budget up to €500. Beyond the main exhibition, artists may be nominated for the FUTURES program, a Europe-based platform supporting emerging photographers' professional development globally. One selected project will also receive publication in 'Pismo' magazine, an independent monthly featuring investigative reporting, fiction, and visual storytelling. FOTOFESTIWAL operates as a collective without a traditional board structure, focusing on presenting photography in various formats while addressing important social issues and showcasing the unique post-industrial beauty of Łódź.
