Otero Artist Members Exhibition - October 2025
Juried exhibition for Otero Arts members featuring 2D and 3D works, opening October 3 with public reception.
The Otero Artist Members Exhibition is a juried showcase opening October 3 and running through October 27 at the historic Woman's Club in Alamogordo. This annual exhibition celebrates the artistic diversity of the region by featuring selected works from current Otero Arts members. Artists can submit up to three pieces of 2D and/or 3D artwork for consideration by the Exhibition Committee. The show opens with a public reception on Friday, October 3 from 5-7 PM and represents a cultural milestone for Alamogordo's creative community. This exhibition provides local artists with a professional platform to display their work, connect with audiences, and participate in the growing cultural economy of Southern New Mexico. Works must not have been previously shown in any Otero Arts exhibition. The venue is located at 1118 Indiana Avenue at 12th Street, just a block from Alamogordo MainStreet district's Block 12, and exhibitions are open Thursday through Sunday, 1-4 PM, free to the public.
Submission Guidelines
Artists may submit up to 3 pieces of 2D/3D artwork. Format: JPG, max 4MB, photographed without mats or frames. Filename format: LastName_Initial_Title_Medium.jpg. 2D max width 36" (including frame), 3D include full measurements. Frames must have d-rings and wire; no plastic frames. Work must not have been previously shown in Otero Arts exhibitions.
How to Apply
1. Step 1: Ensure you are a current Otero Arts member (new artists will be juried by Exhibition Committee)
2. Step 2: Prepare up to 3 artworks following size and framing requirements, photograph as JPEGs under 4MB
3. Step 3: Email submissions to oteroartsinc@gmail.com with proper subject line by September 17 deadline
