St. George Outdoor Sculpture Gallery 2026 Call for Artists

Outdoor sculpture exhibition in downtown St. George seeking large-scale works from US and Canadian artists. $1,000 stipend provided.

The Art Around the Corner Foundation invites artists from the US and Canada to submit large-scale sculptures for the 2026-2027 Outdoor Sculpture Gallery in downtown St. George, Utah. This acclaimed public art exhibition, now in its 22nd year, transforms Main Street and Town Square into a year-long outdoor gallery featuring approximately 30 sculptures. Selected artists receive a $1,000 stipend and have their work displayed for about one year, beginning March 28, 2026. All sculptures are available for purchase, creating direct sales opportunities for artists. Submissions must be weather-resistant sculptures capable of withstanding extreme desert conditions (25°F to 115°F), at least 24 inches in height or diameter, structurally sound, and safe for public interaction. Artists may submit up to two completed works through the CaFÉ portal, though only one per artist will be selected. This program has earned recognition as one of the top public art programs in the West, attracting nationally recognized artists while enriching the community with accessible public art.
