Tampere is celebrating its 246th anniversary with traditional Tampere Day festivities from October 3-5, 2025. Companies, associations, and communities are invited to register their events as part of the city's joint celebration weekend. This is an opportunity for artists and cultural organizations to participate in a city-wide celebration that brings together diverse cultural experiences and community engagement. Event organizers are encouraged to create memorable experiences such as opening doors to their spaces, organizing performances, guided tours, or offering opportunities to try new activities. The 2025 celebration has a special focus on democracy, as it marks 150 years of local democracy in Tampere. Artists and event organizers are encouraged to embrace this theme by planning activities that highlight democratic values through playful voting, discussion forums, or community art projects. All approved events will be published in the Tampere Event Calendar and on the official Tampere Day website, with selected events potentially featured in the Visit Tampere calendar. This provides excellent visibility for participating artists and organizations. The celebration aims to make the city come alive with open doors, cultural experiences, and exciting offers for everyone, making it an ideal platform for artists to showcase their work and engage with the community.
Submission Guidelines
Submit events via Tampere Event Calendar website. Create organization profile, submit event information in both English and Finnish if possible, use #TampereenPäivä as event tag, follow safer space policy guidelines.

2. Step 2: Create organization profile and plan your cultural event or performance for Oct 3-5, 2025
3. Step 3: Submit event details in English/Finnish with #TampereenPäivä tag by Sept 30, 1:00 PM
