Treefort Music Festival 2026 is calling for artist submissions across multiple categories for their 14th annual festival taking place March 25-29, 2026 in Boise, Idaho. The five-day festival features a medieval fantasy theme where 'medieval fantasy meets modern festival culture' and is seeking 'all bards, wizards of synth, punk sorcerers, folk druids, beatmakers, screamers, strummers, noise conjurers, and genreless wanderers.' Submissions are open for the main music lineup as well as specialized categories including Comedyfort, Filmfort, Hackfort, Kidfort, Podfort, and Storyfort. The 2025 festival was the largest to date, featuring 473 performing artists across more than 750 events, generating over $15 million for the local economy with daily attendance reaching 17,000 people. A new tiered pricing model offers free submissions until September 12, 2025, after which there will be a $10 fee, with another increase expected in November. This pricing structure helps cover platform hosting costs for submissions. The festival encourages early submissions to take advantage of the free period.
