40th Annual West Michigan Art Competition Opening

Opening of the 40th Annual West Michigan Art Competition featuring outstanding artwork by over 100 participating Michigan artists from a 42-county region. This year's juror is Cathy VanVoorhis, an accomplished landscape painter and faculty member at the University of Michigan's Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design. The exhibition will present a total of $3,750 in cash awards including six awards of $500 each, five honorable mention awards of $100 each, and a ceramics award of $250 sponsored by the West Michigan Potters Guild.
