Artist Reception for Jia Man's Ikebana Photography Exhibition

The gallery highlights Syracuse-based mixed-media artist Jia Man, whose work combines the Japanese art of flower arranging — ikebana — with contemporary photography. Each of the 18 pieces featured in the CPL Gallery exhibit reflects a unique dialogue between floral form, light, and photographic process. The featured artist is Jia Man, an adjunct professor of Chinese, Japanese, and East Asian culture at Le Moyne College. Man's artwork has been exhibited in Paris, London, Brussels, Milan, Amsterdam, and New York, including presentations at galleries in Chelsea, NY, and the Southampton Long Island Art Fair.
