Caroline Gilmore Artist Reception

Reception for acrylic painter Caroline Gilmore featuring her vibrant paintings with contrasting light and dark elements. The event will begin at 4 p.m. in the lobby at Sound Community Bank, then move to the league's adjacent gallery at 5 p.m. Gilmore creates magical paintings using vibrant colors and the contrast of light versus dark to infuse light, levity and mystery into her work. The Port Ludlow Art League will also exhibit works by its jewelry artists during January, showcasing techniques including metalworking, stone setting, wire weaving and torch-fired enameling. Both Gilmore's paintings and the jewelry works will be on display throughout January.
