Double Feature Opening Reception for Deborah Harris and Maria Frey

A double feature opening reception for potters Deborah Harris and Maria Frey. The reception was initially scheduled for late January when Deborah Harris was to have been featured, but was postponed due to weather concerns. The decision was made to hold a double feature reception for both Harris and Frey. The two artists will be at the gallery during the reception and will have the chance to share about their work, which will be on display, and visit with the community. Deborah Harris's work consists primarily of wheel-thrown porcelain, all functional and food, microwave oven and dishwasher safe. Maria Frey specializes in pottery fired in a soda kiln, which creates distinctive variations in color, sheen, and texture in each piece.
