Flatwater Jazz Orchestra

The Flatwater Jazz Orchestra is a local jazz ensemble featuring 16 of the area's finest musicians. FJO was started out of a need to get together and play music. The group has been playing since 2015 and have had the chance to play for a variety of events ranging from the MONA summer concert series to the annual Wine and Jazz Festival in Kearney. They perform music from the big band swing masters like Glen Miller and Count Basie to more modern compositions from some of today's hottest jazz composers.
