ROOTED: In the Presence of Earth Opening Reception

A solo exhibition opening reception of mixed-media botanical works and poetry by artist Kim Walker. The exhibition explores Walker's creative process and artistic perspective through the use of natural materials and layered mixed-media techniques. The collection includes works that vary in imagery while maintaining a consistent thematic focus on nature and reflection. Walker writes an original poem for each painting to further express her reverent gratitude for the gifts of nature. Guests will have an opportunity to meet the artist and curator during the opening.
