Stuart Allen: Seeing Color - Artist Reception

A solo exhibition reception for Stuart Allen, a Texas/New Mexico based artist born in 1970 in Wichita, Kansas. The exhibition features new work including watercolors, Watercolor Pixels, and a series titled Flights. The pixel series demonstrates Stuart Allen's exploration of color science, where small snapshots are mined for pixel combinations that, when enlarged, create large squares with subtle color variations—similar to magnifying a biological cell. Additional works from earlier periods will be included as a mini retrospective. This marks his third solo exhibition at PDNB Gallery.
