Women's History Month Exhibit Opening Reception

The Southwest Harbor Public Library is celebrating Women's History Month in March 2026 with an opening reception to celebrate in person and meet the exhibitors. The exhibit features works from individuals connected to Mount Desert Island, inspired by the themes 'Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future' or 'What Women's History Means To You.' The exhibit includes a quilted wall hanging, scrap glass collage, underwater photography, sculpture, mixed media and more. Potluck refreshments will be served.
