The exhibition transforms a shuttered 99 Cents Only Store into a dense, anything-goes art flea market within 20,000 square feet. The space features shopping carts suspended upside down, video art at the checkout counters, and paintings and graffiti in every nook and cranny. The works pull from the West Coast network of artists and outsiders, with many works veering toward the countercultural and psychedelic.
