About the Exhibition
A group show inspired by twentieth-century German social theorist Theodor Adorno and his argument that capitalism-led 'culture industry' renders art into standardized, mass-produced comforts. The exhibition features work that challenges easy consumption while also nodding to the idea of 'adornment.'
