About the Exhibition
Opening on December 7, 2025, the anniversary of the United States' entry into World War II, the exhibition presents a wide-ranging selection of Szyk's prolific work, with loans from distinguished private collections as well as newly acquired pieces from the Museum's Permanent Collection. Art of Freedom: The Life & Work of Arthur Szyk positions the artist not only as an anti-fascist propagandist with a significant impact on 20th-century history, but also as a profoundly Jewish voice who continues to resonate today.
