Dialogue with a Collection: The Political Uses of Madness

Tammy Nguyen's exhibition features a new series of paintings in response to documents from the Ellsberg Papers, housed at UMass. In this exhibition, Nguyen weaves together elements of audio, video, and text alongside prayers, poems, and excerpts from archival materials, creating a complex dialogue between past and present. The exhibition explores themes of geopolitics, madness, and nuclear war theory through Nguyen's signature layered visual language.
