About the Exhibition

The exhibition offers an original exploration of significant and often overlooked exchanges through the works of some sixty artists, bringing together a wide variety of mediums and a number of new commissions. It explores how successive generations of artists in the United States from the 1970s onwards have appropriated theoretical, political and poetic concepts developed by French and Francophone writers and thinkers.
