Enduring Impressions: Contemporary Woodblock Prints

This exhibition explores how select contemporary artists throughout the world are incorporating the techniques of traditional Japanese woodblock printmaking (mokuhanga) into their practices today. The work on display at the show is all artwork that was created in response to nature. The exhibition features a full range of pieces that range from traditional mokuhanga to more experimental contemporary pieces, including some prints that merge printmaking with ceramics.
