General Andrew Pickens permanent exhibit

The interpretive center features walls covered with reproductions of General Pickens' handwriting and tells the stories of his time in battle. The exhibit includes dueling pistols from 1779, a cavalry sword, and a decanter set that belonged to the general. Museum Director Nick McKinney designed the exhibit to include main panels featuring examples of Pickens' handwriting, obtained through digital copies from the Charleston Library Society.
