Hans Hofmann

The exhibition features 18 lush and playful works offering an enigmatic illustration of Hans Hofmann's philosophy of love and dedication, situated against a cobalt-blue background. The exhibit features 11 works by the artist and one by his student Lee Krasner. Early works included in the exhibit date from the 1940s, with compositions of still lifes, views of Provincetown, Massachusetts, and more abstract themes crafted in ink, watercolor and gouache.
