Horticultural Heroes

The exhibit features 30 portraits that pay homage to the contributions of leaders in the world of gardening, botany, agriculture and conservation. Each portrait is created by a different artist and honors each person for their commitment to advancing plant knowledge, supporting communities, fighting injustice and preservation of ecosystems. Featured individuals include George Washington Carver, Michelle Obama, Karen Washington, Ron Finley, Leah Penniman, Dr. Marie Clark, and Wangari Muta Maathai.
