Through surreal figurative works that blend drawing, painting and textiles, Imperatrice examines ethnic identity with depth, imagination and visual storytelling. "Indigenous" includes a continuation of the figures, fabrics, threads and mixed media to take a deeper dive into awareness of Indigenous identity and ways in which this stands in the human experience.
