Interleavings

The theme of 'Interleavings' ties the three featured artists together through wood products, paper and trees. The common thread shared by all three artists is paper. The exhibition features large canvases of life-sized, vine-covered tree trunks by Mariam Aziza Stephan, books as art objects and an interactive installation with old encyclopedias by Paul Travis Phillips, and prints derived from nature by Terri Dowell-Dennis.
