Jason Gubbiotti: Static Bursts

The exhibition features Gubbiotti's small but staggering geometric paintings, with work that exhibits the artist's scrupulous and activist attitude towards the paintings' support structures and edges, which at times exhibit as much painterly attention as their front surfaces. The works have standard dimensions of 8 ¼ x 6 inches and 12 x 16 ½ inches, yet fill those small spaces with compositions of astounding intricacy and impact.
