About the Exhibition
Exhibition featuring 50 Mexican masks with five mannequins fully clad in regalia. The masks are typically used at festivals and dances throughout the year. Some masks pay homage to famous figures such as Pablo Picasso, while others deal with death, the afterlife and the devil. The collection includes various styles from traditional ceremonial masks to contemporary interpretations, including a Caiman alligator mask carved from wood and designed for children to wear.
