Michigan Medicine meets Michigan nature through art

A permanent art installation featuring around 350 pieces from more than 35 artists throughout the new 12-story hospital. The interior design vision is 'Michigan meets Michigan,' reflecting the state's regional beauty by pairing natural colors—blues of the lakes, beiges of sand beaches and greens of the forests—with University of Michigan's maize and blue. The diverse collection includes photographs, paintings, textiles, and sculptures aimed at creating a restorative and healing environment.
