Nanowonder: Images from the Microscopic World

A juried exhibition of photographs taken by the Hitachi Scanning Electron Microscope during its residency at Michigan Tech. The exhibit includes microscope photographs of insect wings, hair follicles, textiles, metals, rocks, minerals, and other materials, all captured by the Hitachi SEM, which can magnify samples up to 100,000x the naked eye. This exhibition is truly collaborative and emphasizes how powerful the relationship between science and the arts can be.
