Outside In: New Murals Inspired by Dalí

This unique exhibition invites both current and past SHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival artists to create dynamic murals within the Museum's gallery, inspired by the surreal genius of Salvador Dalí, his collection and the iconic architecture of the Museum itself. Thirteen muralists, all veterans of St. Petersburg's 10-year-old SHINE Mural Festival, painted directly on the gallery walls in the museum's 5,000-square-foot main gallery (the Hough Family Wing). The murals range from 3D images to prints, acrylic paint and digital design, each artist pointing their highly individualistic visions toward works inspired by Salvador Dalí's supreme surrealistic sense.
