This newest body of work ruminates on identity, transformation and Black queerness through a reimagining of the Tarot deck primary cards. The paintings on display are meant to reflect on the human desire to present a 'perfect version' of ourselves, while exploring the possible pathways through troubling times that forms of mysticism, such as Tarot reading, can present to us.
