She reflects on humanity's transformation of the natural world through technology and development, while emphasizing nature's quiet resilience and ability to reclaim what was once its own. At the heart of the project is the idea of reclamation — the process by which nature reasserts itself over manmade structures — and decay, which she views not as destruction, but as transformation that allows new growth to emerge.
