This is the first major museum exhibition in the US dedicated to the work of one of the world's foremost figure painters, bringing together fifty works spanning the artist's career. Flesh, most often women's, puckers, ripples, and folds, rendered in voluptuous strokes of oil paint, often painted on a monumental scale.
