About the Exhibition

The exhibition showcases the artwork that comes from the extensive history of coal mining in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The exhibition provides a broad overview of private and public art in both the gallery and community. Examples include 19th-century landscape paintings and periodic illustrations, as well as 20th-century memorial sculptures and public murals. The exhibition displays objects taken from the renowned Stanislaus Collection.
