About the Exhibition
The exhibition is primarily focused on the industrial history of Pittsburgh, centered on Joe Magaroc, an early 20th century John Henry-esque figure of local steelworkers' mythos. The show merges Pittsburgh's industrial heritage with its sports history, featuring vintage pieces of Steelers memorabilia and a recreation of Art Rooney Sr.'s office door. Old steel molds from the late 1800s are prominent features, displayed alongside their blueprints with tasteful artistic additions.
