About the Exhibition
The exhibition explores the cyclical nature of currents in art, architecture, and design; centering how acts of rebellion and refusal have continually propelled cultural production forward. The exhibition considers what happens when today's artists engage the paradox of history: honoring the influence of the past while consciously dismantling it, and acknowledges how reactionary moves have continually propelled art, architecture, and design forward.
