The Woman Under the Water & Other Stories

Sarah Fox's solo exhibition features works that represent the artist's ruminations on 'life, loss, sex, and love,' with imagery including snakes, lions, two-headed horses, and mirrored Disco Monteras. Sarah Fox's multi-media narratives and characters are created from embodied female experience, with stories of life, loss and love told through corporeal hybrid creatures. The resulting puppet shows, drawings, sculptures and animations suggest a childlike fairytale but with an undercurrent of dark sexual symbolism.
