Rooted in cycles of the natural world and Wisconsin's seasons, Peter's new series of paintings meditates on transformation. A multidisciplinary artist, Peter makes work in tandem with an archiving practice. From found images, recorded experiences, observational drawings, and collected objects, subjects are formed. His paintings merge observed and imagined realities through a process that welcomes revision and accident, drawing on Expressionist and Post-Impressionist influences.
