10th Faneromeni Arts Festival Open Call
Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation seeks emerging artists, groups, and creators for the 10th Faneromeni Arts Festival celebrating culture, art, and history.
The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation (BoCCF) is issuing an open call for emerging artists, groups, and creators to submit proposals for the 10th anniversary of the Faneromeni Arts Festival (2016–2026). This year's theme celebrates the foundation's journey while inspiring future cultural expression, inviting proposals that integrate culture, art, history, the Foundation's collections, and its museums into a vibrant cultural mosaic.
The festival emphasizes connecting art as a bridge of communication, history as memory and inspiration, the Cypriot dimension of collections, and the integration of tradition with contemporary technology.
Two main components comprise the 2026 programming:
1. Faneromeni Arts Festival #Faneromeni '26: Performances will take place at the Amphitheatre of the Cultural Foundation of the Bank of Cyprus. The festival welcomes proposals across all art forms, including theatre, music, dance, performance art, and other creative disciplines.
2. Events Series #Moments at the Museum '26: These events will occur at BoCCF's two museums, offering the public opportunities to explore Cypriot culture from new perspectives. Programming includes musical and theatrical performances, poetry evenings, children's activities, and interactive experiences engaging with museum collections.
The Foundation is seeking diverse proposals that reflect the festival's multi-dimensional character and celebrate its decade-long evolution as a bearer of cultural identity and living dialogue between art, tradition, and contemporary expression.
